Lamamra holds talks with Bosnian counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra received on Monday in Algiers with his Bosnian counterpart, Bisera Turkovic, who is in a working visit to Algeria.

The meeting was later extended to members of the two countries’ delegations.

, during which the strong friendly relations between Algeria and Bosnia and Herzegovina were emphasized and the cultural and human heritage shared by the two peoples was valued.

The two ministers welcomed the decision of the high authorities of the two countries to strengthen diplomatic representation through the opening of embassies in the capitals of the two countries, stressing the importance of working to promote the prospects of bilateral cooperation, especially through the strengthening of its legal framework.

On this occasion, the two ministers discussed the main political and security developments at the regional and international levels, stressing the need to intensify consultation and coordination between the two countries on various issues of common interest.
