Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra, received the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mr. Peter Maurer, where they discussed the areas of cooperation between Algeria and the Committee, and the humanitarian crises in the world.
The Algerian foreign minister indicated that the meeting “focused on humanitarian crises in the world, as well as on the areas of cooperation between Algeria and the Committee and the means to strengthen and develop them”.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of Mr. Ramtane Lamamra’s participation in the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, in New York.
