Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra received on Saturday US Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Michele Sison, who is on a working visit to Algeria, the ministry said in a statement.
“The discussions focused on bilateral relations and the prospects for strengthening strategic dialogue and economic cooperation between Algeria and the United States of America,” the statement said.
According to the same source, “the two parties also shared views on a number of issues related to regional and international current affairs as well as on various aspects of multilateral diplomacy.
