The preliminary round of the League Cup that started on Friday with the qualification of MC Oran against the CA Bordj Bou Arreridj, continues tomorrow (Tuesday 15:30), with three matches, one of them is the “Derby” of the Algerian East, and the other two are two top matches between clubs that want to save their season by playing for the title.

After imposing a draw on Algeria’s champion CR Belouizdad (0-0) in a late match, NC Magra will face CS Constantine which aspires to play the first rounds in the two national competitions, unlike the “Magra team” which is in a difficult position in the tournament . The finalist from this match will travel to the capital to play the CR Belouizdad team for the round of 16.

In the capital, the “20 of August 55” stadium is hosting a strong match between NA Hussein Dey and the guest AS Ain M’lila, as each team aspires to go to the farthest end in this competition, which compensated exceptionally this season, the canceled Algerian Cup due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The coach Bilal Dziri’s cubs, hope to erase the effects of the difficult results in the tournament (15th place). In front of the ” M’lila ” squad, which it is in its best conditions by occupying the fifth position and with a positive result in the first leg of the first league, noting that the qualifier will play against the JSK in Tizi Ouzou as part of the round of 16.

As for the other match in the preliminary round, it will bring together Olympique Medea and the guest ASO Chlef, in a game that appears relatively “balanced”, given the position of the two teams.

If the Olympique Medea lost his goal-scorer Khalfallah , who was transferred to CR Belouizdad in the last Mercato, and also saw the departure of coach Cherif Hadjar before the end of the first leg to join the JSM Skikda, the ASO Chlef conditions are not less difficult, as the “Chelfaoua” occupy the 13th position and are not far from the danger zone, even if they achieved good results outside the rules.
