Lieutenant-General Chanegriha delivers a written message from President of the Republic to his Serbian counterpart

On his second day of the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant-General Saïd Chanegriha, was received today, Tuesday, by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, who handed him a written message of the President of the Republic, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, according to a Statement of the Ministry of National Defense.

The same source added that “the meeting, which was attended by the Ambassador of Algeria in Belgrade and the accompanying military delegation, and on the Serbian side, by the Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Ambassador of Serbia in Algeria and the President and General Manager of Yugoimport, was also an opportunity that was seized by Mr. Lieutenant-General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Army to discuss the relations of Algerian-Serbian cooperation, whose roots go back to the fifties of the last century, that is, to the period of our triumphant liberation revolution.

Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, also had a “meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Milan Mozilovic, in the presence of the accompanying Algerian military delegation and senior officials from the Serbian army. The talks dealt with various fields of partnership and military cooperation between the armies of the two friendly countries.”

The communiqué stated that “Mr. Lieutenant-General, attended this morning the official opening ceremony of the activities of the 10th edition of the International Arms Fair +Partner-2021+, which was supervised by Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia.”

After the opening ceremony, the team and the accompanying delegation toured the exhibition sections and got acquainted with the various weapons and modern weapons systems on display, where they listened to adequate explanations and presentations by representatives of the producing companies.
