Lieutenant-General Saïd Chanegriha offers his condolences to family of Contracted Sergeant Seraoui Sifeddine and wishes recovery to wounded

In the context of the operations carried out by the units and detachments of the People’s National Army in securing the borders and fighting organized crime, yesterday, October 13, 2021 at 20:45 pm, a border guard patrol was exposed to the explosion of a homemade mine during a reconnaissance mission near the western border of the country, in the municipality of Beni Bousaid in the province of Tlemcen in the second military district, which resulted in the death of contract sergeant Seraoui Sifeddine, and the injury of the first contracting corporal Zoubiri Ahmed and the contracting corporal Safari Abdelhak. Immediately and as a result of this cowardly attack, all necessary security measures were taken in order to cordon off and comb the area and to find out all the circumstances of this terrorist act.

In the wake of this injury, the Chief of Staff of People’s National Army, General Saïd Chanegriha, offers his sincere condolences to the family of the martyr, praying the Almighty, to bless his pure soul with his wide mercy, and to dwell in his vast paradise, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, and once again with keenness and determination, People’s National Army will continue to combat terrorism and all forms of organized crime in order to preserve the security and stability of our country.
