“Land Gas Algeria” company produced more than 5 million liters of medical oxygen last July, in response to the increasing demand for this substance due to the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic that the country is witnessing, according to a company press release issued today, Thursday.
“In cooperation with the economic dealers working in gas sector, the company has been able, since the beginning of this latest wave, to provide oxygen to the health sector, in quantities estimated at three times the usual level.”
The average production of medical oxygen for the company was raised to 150,000 liters per day, according to the company, which confirmed that all its efforts were being harnessed to provide this vital product to people infected with Coronavirus.
