“Linde Gas-Algeria” increases its oxygen production by 33%

The Liquefied Oxygen Production Company “Linde Gas-Algeria” announced today, Sunday, that it has increased its production of oxygen by 33 percent since last July, in order to respond to the huge demand expressed by hospitals for this vital substance.

The company indicted, in its statement, that “in the face of the increasing demand for medical oxygen in various hospitals as a result of the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic that Algeria has witnessed since last July, Linde Gas Algeria continues to mobilize all its human and material resources in order to meet the needs of healthcare structures.”

“The company, with its various units, records an increase in production estimated at 33 percent compared to the same period last year,” according to the same statement.

The same source added that “the group, in cooperation with other economic operators active in the field of industrial gas, participated in charity operations consisting of distributing approximately 130,000 liters of medical oxygen as a donation to various hospitals across the country.”
