The Association of Algerian pharmaceutical distributors was reassured about ensuring the “regular and equitable” supply of pharmaceutical products to the national market.
In a statement issued on Friday, the association stressed that it” fully harnessed ” its members “to continue to ensure the supply of pharmaceutical materials across the entire national territory despite the difficult economic context characterized by the continuing negative effects of the covid – 19 pandemic, which continues to cause deep disruption to production and distribution networks in Algeria and across the world,” said the association.
The Association of Algerian pharmaceutical distributors renewed its ” full and unconditional commitment to the regular and equitable supply of pharmaceutical products to the entire population, including those in remote areas of the country,” adding that “all actors in our public health system are called upon to work in harmony, calm and quiet with the public authorities as the guarantor of national health security”.
In another context, the Association of Algerian pharmaceutical distributors expressed “legitimate concern over the series of unfounded accusations aimed at holding wholesalers and distributors responsible for the recent disturbances that have affected the internal market of medicines, especially those related to the protocols for the treatment of the epidemic”.
