The organizing committee of the Mediterranean Games scheduled in Oran in summer 2022 agreed with Algerian Football Federation (FAF) to set a joint program of activities to promote the 19th edition of this sports event.
This agreement was reached during the meeting held by the Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Games led by its General Director Salim Ellas, in Algiers, with officials from the FAF, in anticipation of the official launch of the major promotional campaign for the Mediterranean Games during the next few days.
The first phase of this campaign will be held in the new stadium of Oran (40,000 seats), which will host, in a first trial process, a friendly match for the national team of local players, which is being supervised by former international player Madjid Bougherra, and its Burundi counterpart on June 16th.
