
Algerian weightlifter Maghnia Hammadi won two medals (silver and bronze) in the weightlifting competitions (71 kg) that took place today, Sunday, at the Exhibition Palace in the new city of Oran, as part of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games-2022.
The Algerian weightlifter win the silver medal in the snatch movement after carrying a weight of 100 kg, less than 1 kg than the winner of the competition, Egyptian Naima Said (101 kg), while the Turkish Nuray Gungur completed the “podium” with a payload of (99 kg).
Algerian Maghnia Hammadi added a bronze medal in the prose movement, as she lifted a payload of 121 kg. The gold medal went to Egyptian Naima Said (125 kg) and the silver to Turkish Nuray Göngur (122 kg).
