President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune has sent a message to the Algerian people on the occasion of the National Day of the Mujahid, which commemorates the double anniversary of the northern Constantine attacks and the holding of the Soummam Conference on August 20, 1955-1956, respectively.
The President of the Republic said in his message “Our celebration of the National Day of the Mujahid this year comes at a time when Algeria is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the recovery of national sovereignty in an era marked by harnessing national capabilities and wealth to serve the Algerian people”.
He added “The Algerian people aspire to see the Algeria of the martyrs, strong by its constitutional institutions and bodies, and proud of its glories throughout history”.
The President of the Republic went on to say “We must ensure the preservation and protection of our national memory from the plots of those who, for decades, have been carrying behind them their hatred for the victory of independent and sovereign Algeria”.
He added “The double anniversary of the Northern Constantine Attacks and the holding of the Soummam Conference on August 20, 1955 – 1956, respectively are but evidence of the achievements of a generation of free citizens”
The President of the Republic stressed “We salute, on this occasion, the People’s National Army, the descendant of the Liberation Army, with which the Algerian people witnessed on the 05th of July a moment of pride through a joyful parade, expressing the nation’s loyalty to the martyrs, and to the eternal November message”
He went on to say “With your genuine sense of patriotism, you realize the extent of what awaits us all in the process of ascending Algeria to the place it deserves”.
The President of the Republic said “You can see in the field the efforts made and the steps achieved in order to put the country, through our commitments before the people, on a development path that frees initiatives and liberates energies, in which truth and equity prevail.
He added “I repeat on this eternal national occasion that there is no room in Algeria that we are building together for practices that have jeopardized the people’s confidence in state institutions, and where the law deters anyone who dares to touch the people’s money”
The President of the Republic went on to say: The doors are wide open to all ambitions and aspirations for earning in a clean and transparent environment, and within the framework of the incentives and encouragements provided by the state to create wealth and jobs.
The President of the Republic concluded “Our loyalty to the righteous martyrs and their eternal messages calls upon us to follow their path to build the Algeria of today that is capable of facing the challenges of the situation prevailing in its regional environment and the Algeria of tomorrow that keeps pace with the changes at the international level.
