Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning Kamel Beldjoud, arrived Monday afternoon in Portugal to participate in a high-level ministerial conference on the management of migration flows to be held in Lisbon under the chairmanship of the Portuguese Prime Minister.
Kamel Beldjoud was received by the Portuguese Secretary of State for Internal Affairs.
The conference will see a wide participation of interior ministers of the countries of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, as well as representatives of a number of international governmental and non-governmental organizations active in the field of combating illegal migration. Participants in this conference will discuss ways of partnership and coordination in order to control the flows of illegal immigrants”.
