Minister of Communication Mohamed Bouslimani highlighted this Wednesday afternoon in Constantine the importance and role of media in accompanying national development efforts.
In a press interview at the headquarters of the regional radio in Constantine, on the sidelines of a two-day working visit to this wilaya, the minister stressed the importance of proximity media, highlighting the gains made in the field of developing the national press and enhancing its professionalism.
In this regard, Mr. Bouslimani mentioned that significant efforts are being made to strengthen institutional communication by “enabling the journalist to access news sources and obtain information.”
He also called for “contributing in the media to introducing the memory and history of Algeria and transmitting them faithfully to the younger generations,” urging in this context that journalists, especially from the new generation, should emulate the professionalism of their predecessors from the old journalists.
On the other hand, the Minister of Communication stated that “the state is working to reorganize the public printing presses that suffer from a difficult financial situation,” recalling that in this context a national printing establishment will be established.
