The Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Bouslimani, received Monday afternoon at the headquarters of the ministry, the Director General (DG) of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), Souleiman Abderrahim in the framework of his participation in the work of the annual meetings of the coordinators of Arab radios and televisions, said a statement from the ministry.
The meeting focused on “the exchange of news and programmes in 2022, as well as the events that marked this year”, the press release said.
For his part, Mr. Souleiman Abderrahim “welcomed the efforts of the Algerian State to support the ASBU”, expressing the will to strengthen “further the cooperation and coordination between Algeria and the ASBU”, the same source added.
He also welcomed the support and assistance provided by Algeria to the ASBU for the coverage of the last Arab Summit held in Algiers.
During this meeting, which took place in the presence of the President of the Audiovisual Regulatory Authority, Mohamed Louber, the DG of ASBU was accompanied by the Director General of the Arab Centre for Information and Programme Exchange, Mohcen Slimani.
