Minister of Communications offers condolences on the death of journalist Abdelbaki Djabali

Communication Minister Mohamed Bouslimani sent a message of condolence on Saturday to the family of national radio journalist Abdelbaki Djabali, who died at the age of 78.

“Affected by the death of journalist Abdelbaki Djabali at the age of 78, the Minister of Communication, Mr. Mohamed Bouslimani presents his sincere condolences and expresses his deep compassion to the family of the deceased, praying to God, Almighty, to surround the deceased with His holy mercy and lend patience and comfort to his loved ones,” reads the condolence message.

The deceased is one of the first journalists in eastern Algeria having excelled throughout his rich professional career both in the written press and on the national radio. He was bureau chief for the French-language daily El Watan before retiring and pursuing his passion for writing press articles for several local and national newspapers. He was also a correspondent for channel 3 of the National Radio in Annaba.
