The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab and the Minister of Energy Transition and Renewable Energy, Benattou Ziane chaired, Monday, a meeting on the projects of the National Renewable Energy Program, said a statement from the Ministry.
The meeting was attended by the CEO of Sonatrach Group, the CEO of Sonelgaz Group, the chairman of the Commission for Electricity and Gas Regulation (CREG) and executives of the two ministries, during which discussions focused on projects of the National Renewable Energy Program and energy transition, said the same source.
Several files relating to the National Renewable Energy Program were discussed, including those relating to renewable energy projects of Sonatrach and Sonelgaz Groups, as well as ways to coordinate efforts and capabilities to achieve the production project of 1000 megawatts in terms of the new guidelines established by the government to activate this program.
