Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received today Patrick Pouyanné, Total Group CEO, the ministry announced on its official Facebook page.
The same source said that during this meeting, the two parties reviewed the relations between Total Group and Sonatrach Group, mainly in gas fields as well as the prospects of collaboration between the two Groups in structuring projects in Algeria.
According to the same source, both parties also discussed the future projects to be carried out in LNG, renewable energies, energy storage and petrochemicals, notably the polypropylene project which is in a significant state of progress.
Finally, the two parties reaffirmed their willingness to work towards strengthening the partnership between Sonatrach and Total.
