The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, announced, Thursday, in Algeria, that the Algerian Petroleum Institute, affiliated to Sonatrach, will undertake the training of 30 executives from various member states of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).
In a press release following the 107th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization, held via videoconferencing technology, Arkab explained that “the training formed one of the axes of the “OAPEC” meeting, where the Algerian Institute of Petroleum was entrusted with the task of training 30 executives in the field of the oil and gas industry from various member states.”
This meeting, which was chaired by the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, dealt with the topics on the agenda, which mainly included the organization’s draft estimated budget for 2022 and the report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the General Secretariat of the organization, including the global oil situation.
