Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zeghdar, gave, Monday in Algiers, instructions to provide the necessary means to a national startup that could develop the first oxygen generator in Algeria with the contribution of both the Industrial University and Algerian university researchers, according to a statement by the Ministry of Industry.
Mr. Zeghdar received today, at the ministry’s headquarters, the managers of the startup called INNOEST, the same source adds.
During this meeting, the project and the stages of its realization were presented, from the prototype to the marketing in the local market with the possibility of exporting it to neighboring markets, in addition to highlighting the startup’s expertise in repairing oxygen generators in some hospitals.
Meanwhile, Zeghdar praised the great efforts made by young people in charge of this startup, stressing the support of the Ministry of Industry in all stages of the realization of their project, which is of “extreme importance”, especially in the current health situation.
The Minister also gave instructions to provide the “necessary means” for this emerging enterprise, with the contribution of a number of industrial groups as part of integration, to enable it to realize its project “in the shortest time”, praising this type of initiative that will be encouraged and supported by the Ministry of Industry.
