Minister of Industry participates in Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum in Istanbul

The Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zeghdar, will participate in the Turkish capital, Istanbul, in the Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum next Thursday and Friday, according to a statement of the Ministry of Industry.

The statement indicated that “the Minister of Industry, Mr. Ahmed Zeghdar, in his capacity as representative of Algeria, will participate on Thursday and Friday, October 21 and 22, 2021 in Istanbul (Turkey) in the proceedings of the third edition of the Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum.”

The forum, which will be attended by officials and businessmen from 41 countries, aims to develop economic and trade relations between Turkey and African countries.

Over the course of two days, the participants in the forum will discuss the prospects for African-Turkish cooperation in the fields of agriculture, industry, energy, health and tourism, in addition to examining ways and means to enhance the partnership between the two parties in the fields of trade and investment, especially in light of the African Free Trade Area.

B to B business meetings will also be organized between businessmen of the participating countries, the same source adds.
