
Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Urban Planning, Kamel Beldjoud, praised, Thursday in Algiers, the level of development and professionalism reached by the Algerian police, allowing it to perform its duties to the fullest, in order to preserve the security of the citizen and their properties.
During his supervision, at the Higher Police School “Ali Tounsi” of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Algerian police, the minister stressed that the achievements that have been made aim to “prepare well to carry out the tasks to the fullest in accordance with the requirements of police work, the requirements of the field and the current challenges, in order to preserve the security of the country and the citizen as well as the preservation of properties in implementation of the law, the international conventions and human rights.”
Beldjoud considered that achieving this level is “the result of great efforts made on more than one level within the framework of a vision based on professionalism and effectiveness” highlighting “the strong support of the public authorities for the security institution, as well as the importance attached by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his keenness to ensure a continuous handling of the professional and social concerns of the police.”
