Minister of Mujahideen confirms that deceased Othman Belouizdad made of his life a project to break free from the shackles of colonialism

The Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebigua, offered today, Wednesday, his condolences following the death of the last member of the group of 22 which broke out the liberation revolution, Mujahid Othman Belouizdad, through which he confirmed that the deceased “made of his life a project to break free from the shackles of colonialism.”

Rebigua wrote: “the last member of the historical group of 22 who determined the fate of the Algerian people and made Algeria’s contemporary history and put a dividing line between one era and another, died today.”

He said in the same regard: “The symbol Si Othman, who sacrificed his life and his properties for the homeland, has left us.” However, “his values ​​will remain present, from which we derive our strength,” and “he will remain a source of pride for the future generations.”
