Minister of Mujahideen: The sacrifices of the Mujahideen in the national liberation march are invaluable

Minister of the Mujahideen and People with Rights, Laid Rebigua, affirmed today, Saturday in Algiers, that the sacrifices of the Mujahideen for the sake of liberating the homeland and in the battle of building after independence are invaluable, as they have always been the protective arm of the nation.

The minister said in a speech during an honoring ceremony organized in honor of a group of mujahideen who passed away in recent years that the sacrifices of these mujahideen “are invaluable for the sake of liberating the homeland, just as they continued the struggle after independence, so that they were the protective arm of the nation in all circumstances in order to protect unity.”

In this symbolic honoring ceremony organized by the Mishaal al-Shaheed Association, in coordination with the National Organization of the Mujahideen and the National Museum of the Mujahid, Mr. Rabigua recalled the speech of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in which he highlighted that “the mujahideen have always been one of the strongholds that are zealous for national unity and the people’s cohesion in the darkest and most difficult circumstances.”

For his part, the representative of the National People’s Assembly, Smail Mira, in a speech on behalf of the President of the National People’s Assembly, Brahim Boughali, praised the great sacrifices made by the mujahideen and martyrs in order to liberate the homeland and restore national sovereignty.

He also stressed the need to “preserve history and national memory,” considering that “the present can only be understood through historical awareness.”
