Minister of National Education praises efforts of all members of education staff in organizing official exams

Minister of National Education, Mohamed Wajout, praised today, Wednesday, in the province of Adrar, the efforts of all the sector’s staff in organizing the official exams and finish the school year in “good conditions.”

After supervising the launch of the French language exam during the afternoon period for the end-of-primary education exams for the 2020/2021 school year at Malek Ben Anas primary school in the Adrar’s provincial capital, the Minister stressed that all organizational measures to ensure the smooth running of the exams have been taken, especially those related to strict compliance with the adopted health protocol to combat the outbreak of the novel Corona virus across all exam centers.

Mr. Wajout indicated that the selection of the border province of Bordj Badji Mokhtar as a station to give the official kick off for these exams “has more than a symbolic significance specific to this young local community that overcame the challenge of making these national exams a real success.”

The Minister of National Education hailed, on the occasion, the concerted efforts of the employees of various sector, especially the local social partners, who emphasized “the spirit of responsibility in actively contributing to the success of these official exams and finishing the current school year in good conditions.”

The Sector’s Minister renewed his strong condemnation as a teacher before being a minister of the heinous attack that a group of female teachers had been subjected to in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, stressing in this regard that “the teacher is a red line and whose dignity can never be harmed in anyway whatsoever.”

Mr. Wajout indicated that he had met with the teachers and their parents, assuring them of his full support with all measures to guarantee their rights.

Meanwhile, the minister stated that work is continuing at the level of his ministerial department to prepare the basic law for employees of the national education sector.

It’s worth noting that the Minister of National Education gave this morning, from the primary school “March 19, 1962” in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, the official kick off for the end of primary education exam for the 2020/2021 school year.
