Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts receives Ambassador of Portugal in Algeria

The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Yacine Hammadi, received the Portuguese Ambassador to Algeria, Luis de Albuquerque Veloso.

The same source added that Hammadi valued during the meeting, which took place yesterday, “Algerian-Portuguese relations, expressing his hope to intensify efforts to enhance them, especially with regard to the field of tourism and hotel training, physical and therapeutic tourism, as well as the traditional industry, through the activation and expansion of cooperation programs concluded between the two countries, as well as the organization of exploratory trips for Portuguese tourist operators to introduce the diverse and rich Algerian tourism products.

For his part, the Portuguese ambassador to Algeria expressed “his readiness to push forward relations in the fields of tourism and handicrafts and to work together to embody the joint cooperation program, and he also praised the tourism potential that Algeria abounds in.”

The statement concluded that the two parties agreed to “strengthen and expand bilateral relations in order to advance them to build a true partnership that serves the common interests of the two countries.”
