Minister of Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig called on today, Thursday farmers to contribute to efforts to control the market in order to maintain price stability, according to a ministry statement.
This came during Mr. Rizeg’s reception, at the Ministry’s headquarters, with the Secretary-General of the National Union of Algerian Farmers, Abdellatif Dilmi, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Elhadi Bakir, according to the same source.
On the occasion, the Minister discussed with Mr. Dilmi “the issues that concern the citizen, such as ensuring abundance and supplying products with a wide consumption.”
Accordingly, “the minister called on the farmers, as they are partners in the sector, to engage in the ministry’s endeavor to control the production and distribution chain and maintain the equation of price stability,” according to the statement.
