The southern provinces of the country were provided with large quantities of table oil by sending 10 trucks loaded with this widely consumed product to facilitate its access to citizens, according to a statement by the Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion.
The ministry indicated that, in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Commerce and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, a qualitative operation was carried out yesterday, Friday, to provide the southern provinces with large quantities of table oil, as 10 trucks loaded with this product were destined to the population at the level of ten provinces, namely: Djanet, El-Menia, and El-M’Gair. Illizi, Touggourt, Ouargla, Timimoun, El Bayadh, Ain Salah and Adrar.
Each truck contains 6,800 5-liter cans, equivalent to 34,000 liters, the total of which is 68,000 5-liter cans, equivalent to 340,000 liters, the ministry added.
Accordingly, Mr. Rezig gave instructions to well manage the operation in order to facilitate its rapid access to citizens, according to the same statement.
