Ministry of National Defense “categorically denied” what was published on the website of “Jeune Afrique” magazine yesterday, Tuesday, in an article entitled “Said Chengriha, on a secret mission in Paris to discuss the Sahel issue,” according to a Defense Ministry statement.
The statement indicated that following “ the outrageous misleading attempt whereby the website of “Jeune Afrique” magazine published, Tuesday, June 15, 2021, an article entitled “Said Chengriha, on a secret mission to Paris to discuss the Sahel issue.”, the Ministry of National Defense “categorically denies the allegations brought by this magazine known for its orientations serving parties hostile to Algeria, and confirms that this false news is nothing but a desperate attempt aimed at influencing public opinion, especially on the decisive national occasions and events that our country is witnessing.”
Ministry of National Defense confirms, in this regard, that “this information is groundless and informs those to whom it may concern that the Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha has never hidden his movements and activities inside and outside the country,” according to the same source.
