Ministry of Industry received 26 applications for approval that were submitted at the technical secretariat of the committee in charge of studying the files related to the activity of new vehicle agents, according to a statement issued today by the Ministry.
The statement said, “As part of the implementation of Executive Decree No. 21-175 amending and supplementing Executive Decree No. 20-227 related to the procedure of practicing the activity of new vehicle agents, the Ministry of Industry received 26 applications for approval, and which were submitted at the level of the technical secretariat of the committee in charge of studying the files related to practicing this activity.”
These files relate to 10 requests for approvals for importing tourist and utility vehicles, 10 requests for mobile machinery and 6 requests for motorcycles, the same source adds.
As part of the study of these files, the committee received 7 reports from regional managers in charge of industry, after they conducted field inspections to verify the conformity of basic facilities found in the documents submitted by the credit seekers, including 5 reports related to tourist and utility vehicles and 2 mobile machines, according to the statement.
In this regard, the ministry confirmed that the technical committee will start deciding on the files, which were inspected on the spot by the state directors, starting tomorrow, Thursday.
