Ministry of Labour: Solidarity convoy laden with 200 tons of aid for victims affected by forest fires

Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security launched today, Sunday, from the Higher School of Social Security (Algiers), a solidarity convoy laden with more than 200 tons of aid for the benefit of the victims affected by the recent forest fires.

The Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abderrahmane Lahfaya, accompanied by governor of Algiers Province, Youcef Cherfa, gave the kickoff of this solidarity convoy.

In a statement to the press, the minister indicated that this convoy, which will crisscross the provinces affected by the recent forest fires, “includes 10 trucks laden with more than 200 tons of aid represented in several supplies, including pharmaceuticals.”

Mr. Lahfaya highlighted that this solidarity convoy was prepared by the ministry with the contribution of all bodies under its authority, along with the National Federation of Social Security Workers.

The minister stressed that this donation is part of the solidarity operations with all those affected by these fires, paying tribute on the same occasion for the souls of the victims and martyrs of duty and wishing swift recovery for the injured patients.
