The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs on Tuesday called in a statement for the performance of Salat El-istisqa, next Saturday, through all mosques in the country.
“Following the drought that has affected most parts of the country, and in accordance with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (QSSSL), the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Wakfs calls on all citizens to take part in Salat Al-istisqa which will be performed Saturday 16 joumada al oula 1444, corresponding to December 10, 2022, from 09:00 in all the mosques of the country”, we read in the press release.
In the same context, the ministry urged citizens to “repentance, to repent to the Almighty, to keep ties of kinship intact, to intensify good deeds, to give alms to the poor and needy, in the hope that God, Almighty, gratifies us with His blessings”.
