The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments announced that tomorrow, Saturday, July 30, 2022, is the first of Muharram 1444 AH, and the day of Ashura will be Monday, Muharram 10, 1444 AH corresponding to August 08, 2022.
In a statement, the ministry added, “In order to revive the Sunnah of the Prophet, may Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him, in collecting and distributing zakat, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments puts at the disposal of the good doers the postal accounts of the National Office of Endowments and Zakat to pour their zakat in a manner that ensures its collection and distribution according to its legitimate banks, and contributes to solidarity.
The Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments and all sector employees take this blessed opportunity to congratulate the Algerian people and the Islamic nation on the advent of the Hijri year 1444 AH, asking Allah the Almighty to make it a year of good and prosperity.
