Moroccan occupation forces launched a brutal attack on a Sahrawi camp in occupied Boujdour

The Moroccan occupation forces launched a brutal attack on a Sahrawi camp in the occupied city of Boujdour, as a result of which entire families were subjected to beatings and repression and even pregnant women and children were not spared.

Yesterday, Tuesday, eyewitnesses from the occupied city of Boujdour said that a “large force” of the royal gendarmerie and the auxiliary forces of the occupier in the city, “headed to the / Lariqib / area, east of the occupied Sahrwi city, and tried to force the Sahrawi families to leave the tents and bring them down, in a new assault on the traditional cultural symbols of the Sahrawi people.”

Pregnant women, children and the elderly were not spared from the brutal repression of the Moroccan occupation forces, which raided the tents of the Saharawi families using sticks resulting in one of the pregnant women being transferred to the hospital, according to what Sahrawi sites reported today, Wednesday.

This brutal attack on defenseless residents is added to the series of systematic repression practiced by the Moroccan occupation forces on the Sahrawi people in the occupied cities, violating all civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights.

In November of last year, the Saharawi fighter Sultana Khaya and her family were subjected to a new crime of the Moroccan occupation forces, which consisted of injecting the Saharawi fighter with an unknown substance, in one of the most serious attacks by the occupation authority.
