National Center of Trade Register: importers of raw materials and goods to regularise their situation before 30 April

The Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion called, Monday in a statement, economic operators holding trade registers in the import sector of raw materials, products and goods intended for resale in the same condition, to regularize their situation vis-à-vis the services of the = before April 30, pursuant to the provisions of Executive Decree 21-94 of 9 March 2021.

This measure concerns economic operators with trade registers carrying out the activities of importing raw materials, products and goods intended for resale in the same condition, which have not modified their registers before 31 December 2021, the same source said.

Thus, these trade registers become ineffective under the provisions of Article 4 of Executive Decree 21-94 of 9 March 2021, amending and supplementing Executive Decree 05-458 of 30 November 2005, setting the modalities of exercise of import activities of raw materials, products and goods intended for resale in the same condition, adds the same source.

This measure also targets economic operators whose trade registers comply with the provisions of the aforementioned executive decree, but who have other trade registers containing import activity codes for resale in the same condition, which do not comply with the provisions of the same decree.

The economic operators concerned are required to regularise their situation vis-à-vis the National Center of the Trade Register services by 30 April at the latest, the ministry stressed, adding that its services will take “all legal measures against offenders”.
