Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali, established today, Wednesday, the “Parliamentary Network on Environment and Climate”, with the aim of “strengthening” national efforts, especially in the field of environmental protection, according to a statement of the lower house of parliament.
The same source indicated that “in response to the growing national and international interest in environmental issues, especially climate changes, and the various negative effects that result from them on the economic and social levels, and in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdlemadjid Tebboune in this field, the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali proceeded to the creation of the Parliamentary Network on Environment and Climate.
This parliamentary network, the statement said, is aimed at “strengthening national efforts in the field of environmental protection and combating the effects of climate change at the national and international levels.”
Finally, the statement added that this network includes deputies from various political formations represented in the chamber who are specialized in the environment and climate.
