One (1) person died and 116 others were injured, as a result of 95 physical traffic accidents that were recorded in urban areas at the end of last week, according to a statement by the National Security Services, today, Monday.
The data provided by the competent departments of the National Security indicate that the causes of these accidents are primarily due to the human element.
In this context – the statement adds – the General Directorate of National Security renews its call to highway users to respect the traffic law and to exercise caution while driving.
It also puts at the disposal of citizens the green number 1548 and the helpline 17, to receive communications around the clock 24/7.
