NESEC (CNESE): Tir talks to UK ambassador on strengthening bilateral cooperation

President of National Economic, Social and Environmental Council NESEC (CNESE), Mr. Rédha Tir, received, on Tuesday in Algiers, the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Algeria, Sharon Anne Wardle. The two sides discussed means of strengthening the Algerian-British cooperation.

According to the CNESE’s press release, the two parties reviewed, during a meeting held at the Council’s headquarters, “the state of Algerian-British cooperation in the fields of the economic, social and environmental sectors, by exploring ways and means of raising this relationship to a higher level, particularly with regard to human capital, training and technical and technological expertise”.

In this regard, the President of CNESE expressed his wish to establish a framework for cooperation between the institution he chairs and similar institution in Great Britain.

For her part, the British ambassador affirmed her readiness to share and exchange her country’s good practices and establish partnership relations that would contribute to the diversification of the Algerian economy, the statement added.
