Noureddine Benbraham takes office as President of the NOCS

Mr. Noureddine Benbraham, appointed president of the National Observatory of Civil Society (NOCS) by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in accordance with a presidential decree signed last Wednesday, took Tuesday in Algiers his new functions at the head of the Observatory in replacement of Mr. Abderrahmane Hamzaoui.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, which took place in the presence of the Observatory’s managers and employees, Mr Benbraham expressed his “gratitude to the President of the Republic for the trust he has placed in his person to lead this Observatory”.

He stressed, in this respect, “the dynamic that Algeria is experiencing and the steps taken to involve civil society, and through it the public at large, in the achievement of true citizenship”.
