Olympics/Athletics: Algerian athlete Yasser Mohamed Triki ranks fifth for triple jump

Algerian Yasser Mohamed Tahar Triki ranked fifth in the triple jump competition of the 2020 Olympic Games, today, Thursday, at the Tokyo Stadium.

The Algerian achieved a jump of 17.43 metres, while the Portuguese Pedro Pichardo won the gold medal after a jump estimated at 17.98 metres.

The silver medal went to China’s Zhe Yaming (17.57), while Hugues-Fabrice Zango of Burkina Faso came in third (17.47).
