The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, will participate in the work of the 24th ministerial meeting of OPEC-non-OPEC countries (or what is known as OPEC +), which will be held next Tuesday via videoconference, according to a ministry statement today.
On the same day, Minister Arkab will participate in the 36th meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee, according to the same source.
These two meetings will be devoted to discussing the situation of the global oil market and the prospects for its development in the short term.
The two meetings will be preceded by a special meeting of the Ministerial Conference of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries “OPEC”, on Monday, through videoconference, with the participation of Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab.
This special meeting will be devoted to studying the organizational aspects of the organization, according to the statement.
