The Ministry of Transport announced today, Wednesday, the opening of a new airline linking Algiers to the Qatari capital, Doha, with an average of two commercial flights per week.
The ministry explained in a statement that this measure comes “in implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic, and within the framework of the government’s efforts aimed at strengthening and promoting the Algerian destination and diversifying Air Algerie flights to various countries of the world.”
Air Algerie will take care of all necessary measures to ensure the launch of its regular flights on this line, the same source adds.
The ministry also indicated that for the purpose of reciprocity, Qatar Airways companies will benefit from two commercial flights per week on the same line.
