ORAN – Professor and journalist Abdelaziz Bentermoul passed away Sunday morning at the University Hospital of Oran at the age of 68 after a long illness, his relatives said.
Professor Bentermoul was a teacher of political sociology at the University of Oran and an analyst of political issues and international cooperation through his regular participation in national television and radio programs devoted to these themes.
The deceased also worked as a journalist for the daily newspaper “El Djoumhouria” where he was recently appointed member of its board of directors. He was also the author of numerous contributions and analyses in the columns of the national press on political and social issues.
The late journalist will be buried Sunday after the prayer of El Asr, in the cemetery of Sidi Bachir (Oran), said his relatives.
