Palestine: suffocations during confrontations with the occupation forces in the West Bank

Dozens of Palestinians suffocated, today, Saturday, during confrontations with the Zionist occupation forces, at the entrance to the city of Northern Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) indicated that the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the young men who marched from Birzeit University following the call of the student movement, to denounce the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip which continues for the second consecutive day, causing dozens of them to suffocate.

The same source added that the occupation forces hampered the journalists’ work and tried to prevent them from covering the confrontations.

Since Friday afternoon, the occupation warplanes have launched several missile raids on the Gaza Strip, while the occupation artillery has fired a number of shells targeting agricultural lands and several areas in the east of the Strip, and other targets east of the towns of “Beit Lahia” and “Beit Hanoun.”

International calls continue to stop the continuous Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinian citizens and the injury of more than 80 others.
