PM Djerad in Niamey for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly-elected President Mohamed Bazoum

Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad arrived in Niamey (Niger) on Friday as a representative of the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune to take part in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly-elected elected President Mohamed Bazoum, a statement issued by the first ministry said today.

The first ministry’s statement read: “Representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelaziz Djerad, arrived in the capital of Niger, Niamey, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sabri Boukadoum, to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President, Mr. Mohamed Bazoum.”

The Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelaziz Djerad, was received at Niamey International Airport by his Nigerian counterpart Brigi Rafini, added the same statement.
