Presidency of the Republic: Three Algerian nationals cowardly murdered on Nouakchott-Ouargla road

Three Algerian nationals were killed in a “barbaric bombing” of their trucks while they were traveling on the axis linking Nouakchott – Ouargla, according to a statement issued today, Wednesday, by the Presidency of the Republic.

The statement indicated that: “On November 1, 2021, and in the midst of the Algerian people’s celebration in an atmosphere of joy and tranquillity, the 67th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious national liberation revolution, three (3) Algerian nationals were subjected to a cowardly assassination in the barbaric bombing of their trucks while they were traveling between Nouakchott and Ouargla within the framework of the exchange movement of trade between the peoples of the region.”

The statement added that the Algerian authorities “immediately took the necessary measures to investigate this despicable act and reveal its circumstances,” adding that “several elements point to the involvement of the Moroccan occupation forces in Western Sahara in perpetrating this cowardly assassination using advanced weapons”.

“The three innocent victims of the act of state terrorism, on this first day of November, join the martyrs of national liberation who made the new Algeria a beacon of values ​​and principles of its eternal history,” according to the statement of the Presidency of the Republic, which confirmed that “their assassination will not go unpunished.”
