Tunisian President Kais Saied stressed, yesterday, Wednesday in Tunis, that the relations between Algeria Tunisia are “distinguished” and will be “more distinguished” in the future.
During a joint press conference with the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebbounewho is on a state visit to Tunisia,the Tunisian president said, “The relations between us have been distinguished throughout history and will be distinguished in the future,”.
He stressed, in this regard, that “it is not possible to confront the challenges individually, but rather by combining the efforts of the two countries,” adding, “We have entered a new stage in history,” referring to the existing coordination and cooperation between the two sides.
In this context, President Said recalled the historical stages that the two countries have gone through, especially during the liberation revolution, highlighting that Algeria and Tunisia are “one people.”
Mr. Said also described President Tebboune’s visit to his country as “historic by all standards”, given the number of agreements that were signed in various fields, especially in the fields of health, twinning between the border states, radio broadcasting and others, stressing that work will be done to “consecrate these agreements and implement them on the ground”.
