President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune announced Thursday the arrest of twenty-two individuals suspected of being involved in the forest fires that ravaged several provinces of the country, stressing that the majority of fires are of criminal origin.
In an speech to the nation, President Tebboune said that the 22 arrested suspects (11 in Tizi Ouzou, 4 in Annaba and the rest in Médéa, Jijel and Ain Defla) are now between the hands of Justice.
