President of the Republic appoints Mr. Ahmed Mabed as governor of Algiers

President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, appointed yesterday, Thursday Mr. Ahmed Mabed as governor of Algiers, succeeding Mr. Youcef Cherfa, who was summoned to other tasks, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.

The source stated that “In accordance with Articles: 91, Paragraph 07 and 92, Paragraph 10 of the Constitution, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, Mr. Ahmed Mabed was appointed Governor of Algiers Province, succeeding Mr. Youcef Cherfa, who was summoned to other duties.”
