President of the Republic arrives in Napoli as part of his visit to Italy

President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived today, Friday, in Napoli, as part of the third and last day of his state visit to Italy, at the invitation of Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

The President of the Republic, who travelled by train with the Italian President, arrived today, to the central station of Napoli (south of the country).

After that, the President of the Republic headed to the Italian “Villa Rosebery”  presidential residence where he was received by President Mattarella.

The President of the Republic looked out from the balcony of the residence across from the waterfront, where the historic sailing ship “Amerigo Vespucci” fired 21 artillery rounds, to welcome him.

The Amerigo Vespucci, a school-ship, is the oldest in the Italian Navy’s fleet. The crew of this ship, which specializes in training the navy, consists of 400 people and has completed two trips around the world.

This school-ship, which has 2,700 square meters of sails, had previously trained officers of the Algerian Navy.

President Mattarella will organize a lunch in honor of the President of the Republic and his accompanying delegation, at the “Villa Rosebery”  presidential residence.

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will be accompanied by his Italian counterpart, to the “Capodmonte” National Museum of Napoli.

The farewell ceremony for the President of the Republic and his accompanying delegation is scheduled to take place at “Capodichino” airport in Napoli.
